No, all you need to rent with us is a valid driver license. If you rent a jet ski, we will walk you through the process of earning a jet ski license as required by Idaho law.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent a boat with us.

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

The Damage Waiver is neither insurance nor a deposit.

• The Damage Waiver is an agreement by Vacation Rental Authority Inc to replace or repair unintentional damages to the boat, up to $1500 in total. This only applies if the renter notifies our staff of damage when returning the boat.

• Damages that qualify for this agreement must occur during a Renter’s rental period, be disclosed to management at the return, and the Damage Waiver fee must have been paid in full prior to picking up the boat.

• Any damages that either exceed $1500, are not disclosed at the boat’s return, or are deemed intentional are the responsibility of the renter per the signed contract. An additional $750 refundable damage and compliance deposit is required for all boat rentals and will be charged the day prior to your reservation.

Once your reservation is made with us Coeur d’Alene Boat Rentals delivers your boat for you right to the water. That means no trucks, no trailers, and frustration! Just get on and go. We deliver for free to the 3rd street Boat Launch on the east side of the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

On the day of your reservation, you will receive a text with a photo of your boat as well as its location.

• If you would like your boat delivered right to your waterfront property we can do that too! $150 delivery fee (Must be early morning and on lake CDA)

The main renter must be on hand for delivery with a valid driver’s license.

The best place to park when picking up your rental is the McEuen Park Parking Lot. This is a paid parking lot for $1/ hour. Use the kiosks located around the lot or pay online using the Call to Park App. From the parking lot head toward the Third street, it dead-ends right into the boat launch.

Just like any car rental, we give you the boat full of fuel and we ask that you return it the same way. Please be sure to fill up the tank to avoid any additional charges. We will show you where to do that during the pickup process.

Yes, as long as the main renter has notified us we will allow someone else to pick up a rental. We do need their first and last name, and telephone number. Please remember they still must be 25 with a valid driver’s license.

• Children? Yes of course!

• Dogs? Absolutely, but we ask that you are mindful of dog hair and any messes that may occur.

• Coolers? Please do! We do not provide coolers so bringing your own filled with drinks and snacks is advised!

• Our own tube? Absolutely! We provide 2 person round flat tubes but if you have your own that you would like to tow behind the boat, Just let us know and we will make room!

Yes, our boats are equipped with Bluetooth stereos.  Feel free to bring our own Bluetooth speaker to ensure that you are well supplied with your favorite tunes while on the water!

No, we do not provide anchors on our boats.

The reason is; Lake Coeur d’Alene is very deep, and there are far too many logs deep down at the bottom of the lake. This causes anchors to become stuck between logs and never recovered. If you would like to float we suggest finding a bay to hang out in and shutting off the engine. Keep an eye that the wind hasn’t pushed you too far inland though.

There are quite a few gems located around the lake where you can dock the boat get out grab a bite to eat or stop to use the restroom!

• Cancellations made more than 10 days prior will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 10 days prior but more than 48 hours will result in a 15% cancellation fee of the total reservation amount.
• No refunds or rebates will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before rental day.
